Our Bike Glass-Ceramic Coating is engineered to reduce the adhesion of contaminants such as brake dust, mud, and road grime. Once applied, it provides up to 36 months of protection and is suitable for all surfaces, including vinyl wraps and paint protection films.
The coating cures into a highly durable, ultra-slick ceramic layer that chemically bonds to the bike frame. This bond transforms the coating into the active outer layer of your frame, shielding it against dirt while keeping the finish optically clear.
With resistance across the pH 2 – pH 12 range, the coating ensures that even the toughest grime can be cleaned away effortlessly, reducing maintenance time and keeping your bike in peak condition.
CLEAN: Wash the entire surface with FrameWash. Remove dirt, grease, mud, and any remaining residues until the frame is visibly bare. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a clean microfiber cloth.
A poorly cleaned surface = poor adhesion, period.
PREPARE: Clean the surface with GlazoPrep Surface Spray to remove any remaining oils, residue, or contaminants. Wipe dry with a clean microfiber cloth. For best results, apply in a dust-free, ventilated environment at room temperature.
APPLY: Shake the Glass-Ceramic bottle well before use. Drip the product on the applicator pad.
LEVEL: After 1–2 minutes, gently buff off residue with a clean microfiber cloth until a deep gloss appears.
CURE: Allow the coating to cure for at least 12 hours indoors. Avoid water, detergents, or physical contact during this period for optimal bonding.
(Tip: Full chemical curing is achieved after 5–7 days.)
SUITABLE SURFACES
This coating is specially developed for modern bicycle finishes and other mobility equipment. It adheres perfectly to painted and clear-coated frames, whether carbon fibre, aluminium, or steel. It can also be used on plastic components, wheels, and lacquered or powder-coated parts.
The product creates a smooth, protective film that enhances gloss, depth, and ease of cleaning while maintaining the natural look of the surface.
SURFACES TO AVOID
Do not apply on unpainted or raw carbon fibre, bare metals, or unfinished aluminium, as these surfaces can absorb the product unevenly and reduce durability.
Avoid contact with rubber parts, brake discs, tires, grips, saddles, and fabrics — the coating may make them slippery or leave marks.
For matte or satin finishes, always test on a small area first to ensure the desired visual result.
